Principal's Message

“Stud“Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed…….”                  2 Timothy 2:15

By the grace and mercies of the lord, we have seen another year successfully ended. e year commenced there were several challenges before us, a number of targets to be achieved but with God’s help and the support of the management we were able to overcome all.

Tremendous efforts have been made by our academic staff at the junior middle and senior level to achieve academic excellence this year, specially for the weaker students and the slow learners we made through various innovative & creative methods to enable them come to par with the others. Thus a lot of confidence and motivation was observed among students in general. Hence we could see the effect of the hard work put in by the teacher & the taught specially when the Board Examination Results were announced. Both, at the ICSE & ISC levels, we achieved 95 & 97% results respectively. at the ICSE and ISC (Science) stream whereas 100% results in the ISC commerce stream. Once again students made their alma mater proud.

For the first time we were privileged to host the ASISC regional Throw ball Championship on our premises. Teams from Uttrakhand & U.P. participated. They were provided boarding & lodging for three days. The mess in charge Mr. R. McGowan surely did a marvelous job. They truly enjoyed their stay at Devprayag specially due to the safe and serene environs of our campus. During their stay, they developed a strong bond with our students and the pleasant memories of the event still linger in their minds. Devprayag received a huge applause from the ASISC Zonal as well the Regional offices.

We successfully opened a beautiful, Robotics laboratory for all classes, where students are given ample opportunity to develop their creative, scientific / technical skills, learning while doing. The smart classes wore a completely new look as the management has taken keen interest in re-modelling them with plush wall to wall carpets and suitable furniture. Students take active initiatives to maintain it. We do acknowledge our administrator Mohd. Haider Sir’s constant monitoring & hard work at every step.

Assignment and weekly tests have gone a long way and brought about a marked difference in the realm of academic progress. This year right from the Nursery to class 12 parents have been very supportive of all our endeavours in providing a holistic education to all our students be it studies, sports or inter institutional events.

I wish all students and teachers the very best for the new academic session. “There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.” Colin Powell
